After leaving the law firm that he founded, Scott Gilly embarked on a career of entrepreneurship that has proven far more engaging and rewarding than the practice of law. He founded Cedar Hill Ventures, a company under which Scott has pursued a multi-faceted career of venture investing, consulting, and incubating multiple cloud-based technology platforms that target inefficiencies in mature industries as diverse as the legal, real estate, and leisure sport spaces.
Among Cedar Hill Ventures’ portfolio companies is DirectDep, a cloud-based technology platform for law firm professionals to instantly book court reporters for depositions and other litigation support services in real-time, 24 hours a day. Scott currently leads the company as its Founder and CEO.
